Support Group

Having a strong support structure around you is the most effective and important piece of the recovery journey! A support group’s aim is to create a community, a safe space, for anyone with disordered eating concerns, or their loved ones to share their problems and connect with others who share similar concerns.

Support groups aren’t in any way a replacement for individual therapy, but can be a very helpful and good low-cost supplement to therapy. Each individual wanting to partake in a support group is required to fill a consent form, agreeing to group guidelines, before being inducted. Each support group is moderated by a Freed-certified professionals or trained volunteers and provides the flexibility to remain anonymous.
